After a lot of recent requests for Photoautomat hire in Manchester and delivering photo booths to clients for their weddings at vintage Manchester locations such as Victoria Baths & Victoria Warehouse. We’re pleased to announce we’ve now taken on a member of staff based in Greater Manchester to work at all of our Photoautomat hire Manchester events! Matt is now our main man for retro photo booth hire in the Greater Manchester area!

Not that long ago the whole internet went crazy about the flawless Kardashian photo booth photos. Perfect skin, all attributes on point, black and white effect. You might think that it’s all because of tons of FaceTuning or some amazing Photoshop skills but it’s actually not! It’s all thanks to the photo booth and it’s customised automatic photo filter. Andy Warhol Photo Booth Filter

I’m certain that all of you have seen the amazing Marilyn Monroe pop art portrait by the one and only Andy Warhol. The Marilyn Diptych from 1962 (can we just pause for a second and appreciate the art that was created 55 years ago with almost no computer technology available) is actually a silkscreen or if you prefer a screen printing painting. Together with Campbells Soup Cans, Chelsea Girls and the portrait of the American Beauty they are Andy’s most noted works. The original piece is currently owned by the Tate in London. The International Photo Booth Convention 2016

On Monday 9th May we took a trip up to Manchester to The International Photo Booth Convention 2016 hosted by Fred Aldous. The IPBC (IPC) is an ad-hoc event that takes place every few years in different locations across the world, the event was first started in 1997 by a guy called Mr Mixup.

Stuck in the mud at Rock am Ring

At the end of last week we were delivering (well attempting to anyway!) a Hashtag Printer to the guys at Zippo to be used on their stand at the world famous Rock am Ring rock festival . The festival is held at Mendig Air Base close to Cologne in Germany.
