On Monday 9th May we took a trip up to Manchester to The International Photo Booth Convention 2016 hosted by Fred Aldous. The IPBC (IPC) is an ad-hoc event that takes place every few years in different locations across the world, the event was first started in 1997 by a guy called Mr Mixup.

At the end of last week we were delivering (well attempting to anyway!) a Hashtag Printer to the guys at Zippo to be used on their stand at the world famous Rock am Ring rock festival . The festival is held at Mendig Air Base close to Cologne in Germany.

Barclays used a custom outdoor photo booth for one of their adverts for their personalised debit cards. The illuminated booth looks great! In the advert a personalised debit card drops into the slot instead of a print.
Another great looking custom made wooden photo booth by the guys at Glasscoatphotobooth.com. This booth is positioned inside Buckshot Bar in San Francisco, it even has a tree stump as the seat!
On Sunday night 6 employees of American family restaurant chain Chuck E Cheese’s were injured after a brawl that broke out in the kitchen of an Ohio branch of the restaurant chain. A customer who was part of a children’s birthday party had complained to the manager that the photo booth inside the restaurant had broken, after being told that she would need to wait a minute for the manager to assist her, the women’s partner then took it upon himself to confront the manager as he walked into the kitchen threatening to kill him.
