Match Box Bespoke Photo Booth Build

Taking influence from award-winning venues around the world, Match Box provides a stimulating and eclectic environment for Reading’s creative minds to relax and unwind. This edgy nightclub and cocktail bar is the first of its kind in the town, and we’re proud to have one of our bespoke booths installed as a permanent fixture there.

Prior to the club’s opening in September 2014, we worked closely with designers at 44th Hill to ensure that our Photo Box booth fitted in seamlessly with the theme of the club.

The booth was custom made for the venue, and has been fitted directly into the wall. It can easily fit six people inside, and comes complete with a custom printed chevron backdrop which perfectly complements the club’s branding.

We also took care to ensure that this booth needs as little maintenance as possible. In fact, it’s 100% maintenance-free for the venue – we take care of that end of things on their behalf. What’s more, this particular model rarely needs to be refilled with paper thanks to its huge capacity of 800 prints. Finally, the booth will automatically switch itself on and off each day to save electricity.

An Instagram style filter is applied to each snapshot automatically, and guests receive 6×4” prints of their photos featuring the Match Box logo as a digital overlay.

This booth also has some great data capture functions, which allow it to collect valuable data from Match Box guests. Customers are able to send themselves copies of their photos using its built-in touchscreen. Whenever someone does this, the machine automatically saves their email address and adds them to the venue’s mailing list.

As with many of the nightclubs we work with, this booth runs on a revenue share agreement.
