Cheap Monday – Case Study

Venue: Cheap Monday, Carnaby Street, London

Grazia Magazine Shopping Event

Cheap Monday chose our versatile Photo Tower to help promote a 20% off shopping event on Carnaby Street in London. It’s compact and great for group photos or selfies, making it perfect for use on a bustling shop floor.

Shoppers were encouraged to take pictures of themselves as they browsed in-store. They we able to choose between six filters (black and white, full colour, sepia tones, blue tone and two ‘retro style’ Instagram filters) and print their photos off as retro style 2×6” strips. Each customer received two free prints, so they could decide whether they wanted to keep both copies, or stick one of them to the side of the Photo Tower – using magnets provided by us.

Prior to the event, we sent the Cheap Monday graphic design team templates so that they could customise the photo booth software to include their own branding. They also produced a very simple design for branding the prints, and we added Cheap Monday branding to the light boxes at the top of the tower before we delivered it to the store.

The Photo Tower essentially ran itself for the four hours it was in use, and proved extremely popular. People were lining up to use it all evening – and the queue was rarely shorter than 10 people deep.
